This gadget makes it easy to review candidates for Quality Image. This gadget considerably reduces the complexity of the Quality images review process, while also automatically avoiding edit conflicts.
Documentation[edit]
- Activate the Gadget QICvote in your preferences in the section:
- Go to candidates page and select the image you want to review.
- You will observe that each nomination has a combo underneath with several options (Promotion, Decline, Discuss and Comment).
- Select the action you want to take, at that time an input dialog box will appear where you must enter the reason for your evaluation. If you agree and wish to proceed with your evaluation, write the reason for your evaluation and then click on the Accept button, otherwise you want to abort the review, click on the Cancel button.
- As an optional step, you will also see another combo in the same bar with other options of: To review, Declined, Promoted and All. You can filter the nominations that are presented on the page with another combo that is to the lower right of the bar of tools. This combo allows to view images to be evaluated, declined images, promoted images and in discussion in a simpler way.
- You will also see a lower toolbar with a indicator of the amount of images you have been evaluating and also a blue button called "Confirm reviews", that you must click once at the end of all the evaluations.
