File:Lian Li PC-A17.jpg edit

This was originally uploaded to Wikipedia in 2008. The Wikipedia uploader originally stated that the picture was created by Patrick Darnell on Picasaweb, but when Magog the Ogre (talk · contribs) nominated the file for deletion on English Wikipedia for lack of evidence of permission, the user who uploaded the file to English Wikipedia changed the information to state that the file was created by Jermaine Maree on Flickr, see w:Special:Diff/673152948.

I can't access the file on Picasaweb. The link goes to a page which is claimed to belong to Patrick Darnell, but apart from that, the page doesn't work. I can't see if the image appears there or if Picasaweb claims that the file on that page is freely licensed or not. I added {{Picasareview}} to the file information page hoping for a bot review, but the bot wasn't able to access the file either.

Flickr indicates that the file is available under a free licence, although not the one currently indicated on Commons.

Since we have two different and conflicting authorship claims, I'm not sure whom to trust: Flickr or Picasaweb. Since the content appears to be inaccessible on Picasaweb, I can't tell to which website the file was first posted. Looks like licence laundry on either Flickr or Picasaweb, or possibly on both websites. Stefan2 (talk) 20:47, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
